Theth is a small village within Shkodër County, Albania. Following the 2015 local government reform, it became part of the municipality of Shkodër and has been declared a Protected Historic Center by the Albanian Government. The community is at the center of the Theth National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Program
First day:
► Departure from Berat at 06:00.
Continuation of the journey towards Qafe Thores with short stops along the way. Staying at Thores Pass for about 20 minutes to enjoy the fantastic panorama of the valley. We arrive in Theth. We provide accommodation in guesthouses. Eating lunch in the restaurant of the guesthouse. We go down to the valley and continue walking parallel to the river. We visit the church. After the church we go down to the river where we visit the Ngujim Tower, where more than 300 bloods have been reconciled from the entire Bajrak of Shale. We continue walking towards the Grunas waterfall, which is one of the most special natural beauties in the Albanian Alps, declared a natural monument protected by the state. The Grunas waterfall, with its thin body over 30 meters high, together with the surrounding circuses and the Bloja Mill, forms one of the most interesting places to be visited by every tourist visiting Theth. The Thethi waterfall has as a special characteristic the fact that its water all originates from a rock and is snow water. We rest for about 1 hour to enjoy the view or to take photos. Then we return to the guesthouse. Eating dinner in the guesthouse restaurant and a festive evening with music.
Second day
8.00–9.00 breakfast with fresh local products (bread, cheese, jam, honey, milk, tea, eggs, etc.) After breakfast, we leave for Shkodra. visiting the city of Shkodra for about 2 hours and eating lunch.
Arrival in Berat, in the evening.
